ENTERPRISE, ORE – The Enterprise-Joseph Lyons Club hosts the Dick Wheeler Memorial Golf Tournament Saturday, Sept. 11 at Alpine Meadows Golf Course in Enterprise.

The four-person scramble starts shotgun style at 8 a.m. Prizes will be awarded for putting, longest drive along with Closest to Pin (KP) contests.

The one-day event is $75 and includes a barbecue with hamburgers and hot dogs.  Cart and club rentals are available for an extra fee.

The event raises money for the Chief Joseph Day Camp held at Ferguson Ridge Ski Area – co-managed by the Lions Club and the Eagle Cap Ski Club. For decades elementary school age kids have found fun, friendship while learning about journalism, theater and outdoor skills at the popular day camp attended by at least two generations of Wallowa County kids.

To register for the tournament, sign up at Alpine Meadows or call Bob Pace at 775-304-9854 or Charlie Kissinger at 541-398-1167.
