February hasn’t been an easy month for the People around the Nixyaawii Community School and the greater Pendleton area. Devastating floods destroyed homes, caused families to be rescued by helicopters and boats and took away what residents had worked for over decades. The gym was packed!!! The ladies’ varsity game ended in a win for the Joseph Eagles with outstanding sportsmanship on both teams. The varsity boys game was four quarters of high speed and a fight for the win that only ended with the last buzzer.
